Cheri LeFevre, M.Ed., LPC
Cheri LeFevre, M.Ed., LPC has been in the counseling field for over 20 years. Early in her career she was a clinical therapist at an inpatient program for Anorexia and Bulimia in Arizona. It was there, she learned to implement holistic, comprehensive treatment approaches for her clients.
After moving to Grand Junction, Ms. LeFevre established her own private practice where she specialized in the outpatient treatment of anorexia and bulimia by way of individual and group therapy. She also counseled those needing a behavioral emphasis regarding overeating issues (binge eating, obesity). She expanded her therapy services to include an integrated theoretical framework tailored to the specific needs of clients with other challenges (see below). Ms. LeFevre thoroughly assesses and collaboratively works with clients in their unique processes to foster effective healing. Examples of outcomes often consist of a solidified self-concept, purpose and vision. Add to that; significant improvement in coping and communication skills.
