Glenn Bordelon, MA,   is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. His training and experience are in solution-focused brief therapy from a systemic framework.  His areas of focus include but are not limited  to:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Providing Solution Focused Brief Therapy at Associates in Behavioral Counseling for families and couples with relational problems as well as individuals dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, stress while approaching these and other issues from a systemic framework. Providing part-time services from October of 1999 through November of 2001 and full time services from December of 2001 to present.

Responsible for providing therapy at Latimer House, (Domestic Violence Safehouse) Grand Junction, Colorado for couples and families dealing with issues of domestic violence. Also providing therapy and advocacy to women and child victims of domestic violence seeking shelter in the safehouse from January 2000 through November 2001.

 

ADDITIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

Wings of Wood - artist/owner, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Responsible for the sculpting and marketing of lifelike carvings of songbirds, gamebirds, and waterfowl. 1980-1997.

Teacher and Work/Study Coordinator-Bossier High School, Bossier City, Louisiana: Acted as teacher as well as assisting eligible students in finding employment as part of their educational experience. 1970-1980.
